A friend has a cabin reservation Thursday and Friday at KY Dan Village this coming week. Weather not looking so good. 4 hour drive for me. What is the bite like or has any one been!

A friend called and wanted me to go today. Said he's been getting 15 - 18 keepers each time out.
If we did what was most important in life there would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles

I fished 3/9-15, but was only able to fish from 8:30 - 1:00 each day due to participating in a big coonhunt each night. I caught fish everyday except 3/15, and that was because the wind kept me off em. If I could have fished all day I would have limited out everyday, I caught between 12-16 keepers daily and fishing was very consistent they never moved all week. Plain minnows out fished jigs, my fish were in water 16 -20ft deep. If it were me I'd be loading up and heading to the lake, I think business is about to pick up big time.
