Good looking mess. Can't wait until I can get back on water.
Saturday started out warmer, sunnier and slower than it ended! By yesterday afternoon the clouds had took up anchor, the wind was gusting, the temps were dropping, but the feeshes were bad hungry.
Found a consistent pattern before lunch, and rode it til 4pm which produced a total of 61 crappie while I ended up keeping 16. Alot of 10" - 10 3/4" fish to sort thru to find the one's that fit our self imposed 11" minimum.
Could have kept 4 more 10" - 11" fish to make a limit, but the picture below says it all. Did some scanning in a variety of depths, locations, and found some fish early but the wind was wrong and ended up being awkward to fish and control the boat. The elements were rough and tough, but it was a very productive day. Next weekend forecast is 60's for highs! I love fall fishin'!

Appreciate it fellas. With the CUSA Classic day 2, the post front and rough weather conditions, I considered Saturday to be an excellent day.
Consistency is hard to achieve when time on the water is limited. 2017 has been a year of learning, listening, adapting, and applying.
