Thread: North Barkley 9/10

Fished the North End of Barkley today and managed to get 4 keepers, lots of yellow bass, and several that bounced off my hook 20 feet from the boat. Kinda disappointed in the day but you can't always catch the limit. I learned a lot today having never been on this part of the lake. Most importantly is East to East North East wind in this area can be really rough trying to navigate and keep the boat in control while trolling. Secondly i mis judged the wind forecast completely(I think maybe i was looking at a Indiana wind forecast possibly 3-5 mph). I did manage to find lots of new waypoints for the future. I also tried to capture a screen shot of a side image that was covered over with fish completely across the screen(asian carp), my humminbird helix would not recognize my card. A call to Rickie and i learned the helix won't recognize a 64 gig card. So now i know
