Besides when you quit catching fish, when do you stop trolling cranks and go to slow trolling or spider rigging. I know you (Mrdux) starts trolling cranks earlier than most and I agree with his thoughts, but was curious about when to stop. Is there a water temperature that is a good indicator. I don't get out as much as I would like and I have a set of poles rigged for either cranking or a set for spider/long lining, I really don't want to bring them all with me in case the crank bite is over.

    Thanks,
    Ray

I like those seats MRDUX. I just ordered two for my boat based on you review. Can't wait to use them.

I'll start thinking about it when the water temps get to low 60s AND the baitballs have moved toward the mid to back sections of bays. I pulled cranks well into November last year just because we were still catching good numbers of good crappie.
