    Default New jigs

Poured some new jigs. 1/8 & 1/4 oz round head double barb. Used some hooks that I ordered from Curtis Hobbs (litewire hooker on crappie.com). They are 2x extra light wire. Have never used em before, but hoping when snag a brush pile they'll bend out instead of breaking off. I think they wil, very thin wire hook. Mostly single color jigs, but did try a few two tone colors.Name: IMG_8100.jpg

I've fished them in beds and brush with good success.

Very nice. How do you dip the jig without getting paint on the eye?

When you go to dip the jig in the powder paint, if you have the cup for your fluid bed almost all the way full, you can dip the jig pretty much level, and keep the paint from getting in the jig's eye. Was low on some colors and ended up getting paint in some of the eyes, just bust it out before baking jigs.

Checked out those slab-a-nator jigs. Good looking baits! I really like the one called ray ray baby bass. (Think that was the name of it)
