Thread: GRL Spring Fling 2017

Opening this can of worms a wee bit early in the season, but love the fishing and fellowship of this gathering. Any body got any times and dates in mind for the GRL Spring Fling 2017

Yeah, dates/times are set ... and I will be putting up a thread on who plans to attend & number of people in their party, who plans on bringing what to the event (food/prep items/etc), and all the usual pre-event Q&A stuff. I will probably start that thread this weekend.

We are still working out details, so some things may change.

We've listed the Fling as being over 3 days, but that's not mandatory ... Chucky & my partner(s) & myself always make it a 3day event, so we're just letting everyone else know our plans, so they can attend over however many days is suitable to them.

Saturday Apr 29th is the "main event" day, as it always has been. We've just added a Chili Social Dinner on Fri evening (28th) and a couple of seminars on Sat afternoon. Sunday Apr 30th is departure day for us, and there's usually a few other groups that fish that day, too, just like we usually do ... so we're including it as part of the event, just for those that wish to stay until then. There won't be any special Fling events taking place on Sunday ... just fishing & packing up for the ride home.
