Gotta work this year an can't make the shindig. Had to make a showing some how. Maybe just more bait? Have the best get together yet. Gonna miss them cast iron cobblers.

I think this Kentucky boy stuck in Tennessee will leave the boat at home and just come for the fun on Saturday. I don't know that water welll enough for my boat to feel safe out there in the big water.
    See you all on Saturday!

Record high water to record low water...record high temps to record low temps....record rain fall to no rain....just the new normal.

    Whatever happen to normal?

Default KY Shindig and Fruit Jar boaters---BE AWARE!!

Just got off the water during a break in the wind for a quick test run after working on my outboard. Don't completely rely on the navigation buoys in the secondary channel. There are two places now in the marked secondary channel between Kentucky Dam Marina and Big Bear that are less than 4' deep. Be extremely cautious around the mouth of Little Bear because the sand bar will reach out and touch you for a couple hundred yards offshore.
