    Indeed they were, JM ... got most "hard" bites in the first hour we fished. We just didn't get into any "big ones" (>11") ... probably because we fished heavily "used" water with the exception of the first spot we tried.

    How deep were you finding them ?? We were surprised at how shallow most of our fish were (<5ft deep)

    Water temps had dropped a couple of degrees from what it was a few days ago, when Carl & I went ... 73deg was what I observed, the whole time I was there. (down from 75-76deg)
