fish still eat in the mud pit, it's just harder to find them and figure out what they want
Anyone know the current conditions on Green? Saw where they started pulling it pretty hard today. Would like to fish Saturday but hate to make a wasted trip if it is a mud pit. Thanks for any info!

Appreciate it SirBob, I ended up just going to Laurel. Ended up with a Kentucky and a trout. Was good to get out though!
Good to hear. Me and a friend held on fishing, went to the Cave City Gun show, then road trip across the pkwy to Somerset going to Pauls Discount and a few pawn shops. We came home via Columbia to Campbellsville and below GR Dam it was way up and rolling. COE was discharging at 5935 cfs. This will get it down but rain/snow in the forecast and cold temps. But we are getting closer to spring. My info that I posted was from Patterson's Bait and Grocery's facebook page. You can Like his site and get Green River Lake info. He is a Crappie.com member also.Next time I am around Knifley I plan to stop in and say hello to Skinny. Additionally most of the COE lakes also have facebook pages in which they post lake level and discharge rates.
Good deal, I have bought minnows from Patterson's several times, they are all good folks in there.
We only had 20 keepers yesterday but they were good size green fish. No checker required, some short fish too. If you didn't put it in there face you didn't get a bite. With the wind and the rate they are pulling made it tough.
Time spent on the water is not deducted from one's lifespan.
Pappy?
