    Been thinking about all my blessings the past year and one of the best ones has been making and keeping friends on CDC. Grateteful for all of you guys even the ones from Southern Illinois!! LOL

    Happy New Year to all here.

    2016 is bringing big changes and I hope they all turn out as well as we hope. Giving up my waterfowling is going to have me in the shop 12 months out of the year rather than 9-10.The $$ will be missed but considering the hours I was away from home and the physical strain of all kinds of nasty weather on my body, I know it was the right decision.

    I hope this allows me to get much closer to being caught up than I am now. The fishing guiding is going to allow me to get on the water often but still sleep in my own bed. I'm hoping this time at home is going to give me more time to grow old with my beautiful wife of almost 41 years and let me watch my grandkids grow up rather than see them occasionally.
