    Default Barkley 6/24/15

First time I have had the chance to go since the first of the month, got lucky and had great cloud cover early. They were hungry and aggressive. One of the quickest limits I have caught this year, had 20 on ice about 9:30. Some nice fish. All came from around wood 13-18fow.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1435164271745.jpg

Nice Austin. My jaw bout dropped when I saw that report. Makes me want to go crappie fishing. You get moved yet? We may need some fish this fall for the fish fry at camp. LOL You saved our butt's a few years ago when you gave us all those fish for crappie camp at Big Bear! I still appreciate you driving all the way from home to give them to us. I new you was a great dude then and one heck of a crappie fisherman!! I will take a fishing lesson anytime!!

Sure wasn't expecting them to bite like they did. Have had some good days in the past in June but don't remember getting a limit quite that quick in June. Found some pretty big wads of fish. More bait in the bays than I have seen all year.

We got moved in about a month ago, been itching to take advantage of the now short ride to the water but been too much overtime to get after them. I think I can scrounge up a few filets if we need them this fall,Lol.

I took my wife out pulling cranks Wed afternoon after seeing this report, The bay we had done so well in on KY a week ago was absolutely void of bait. The structure we had been targeting was empty. I think it was because of the almost no current being pulled. We worked our way from the bay, out to the main creek ledges then out to the main lake secondary ledges and never caught the 1st crappie--not even a dink. The yellows, bass, small cats and one goo were biting but they shut down 1 1.2 hours before dark. Strange day for us.

Makes Austin's catch that much more impressive.

I'm really puzzled why with the temps being as hot as they are, they are pulling 12K thru the turbines? Should be seeing 60K.

Ohio is pretty flooded Dux....may be why. Went to St Louis saturday and the muddy Mississippi was the MUDDY Mississippi!! Whole trees floating one after another. Caught a bunch of fish yesterday but only 2 crops. Day before had caught a bunch of crops in the very same bay! Figuring out fish can make you
