Hope was a great man! I got to know him as a teenager when I worked in Lake City at the lumber yard. I saw him last year below the dam striper fishing in a downpour! He liked to striper fish and was good at it!
I'll always remember him as the long time host of KY Afield. He was a common site below KY and Barkley Dams as well as around the lakes. KY sportsmen have lost a dear friend. RIP Hope.

God's speed Hope. I got to know hope in the early 80's. He loved to pick and agitate almost as much as he loved the outdoors. For years his Lab Tar (IIRC) was with him at all times, very smart dog.
Hope my friend, you will be missed.
Great talent, great sportsman!
RIP
