    Default good news today

So my family finally got some good news today, my brother was released from the hospital after having surgery last week to remove colorectal cancer, the doctor reported back today also that the lymph nodes she removed around where the tumor was came back negative for cancerous cells. He does still have to do another round of chemo just to be on the safe side, as well as adjust to life with a colostomy bag, but he is taking it very well. I just want to stress gettting screened cause this can be caught early, some say by bloodwork, and if not get a colonoscopy, and don't ignore symptoms.

Good news. I just went through this with my father in law last fall. He is doing well now. Loves to crappie fish. I take him EFL occasionally.

Glad he's doing well! IMO .. Since it's in the family, you might want to go get a colonoscopy yourself (if you haven't already). Easy test and I'm told it's THE BEST way to prevent colon cancer!

Any time you hear the word cancer it sends your mind thinking and its always good to hear the word "benign." I go in tomorrow and have mine done at 11:30. I joke around and tell people that I hope they use the small Kodak and plenty of K Y jelly but this is supper important for those of us over 50. Its not a big deal as they put you out now and when you wake you can't even tell they been poking around back there. God has my hand going into this and I know He'll take good care of me, He even let me go fishing this morning. Ya just can't beat that.
Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!
