    Default Barkley 5-10-14

Slid up there this morning and got lucky and dodged a storm that looked like it missed a little south. They weren't jumping in the boat but weren't real tough either, had 20 at dinner, 15-20fow. Mostly post spawn now but a couple females did still look full.

Nice mess! I'm glad you did better on the crappie than we did the redear. I've been here for seven days and maybe caught a dozen redear...I don't think they're up yet. This cold winter slowed them down IMO but they should turn on this week for the full moon.

Austin...you're about the most consistent fisherman I know...(I struggled for 14 yesterday)...

Looks like your hard work placing structure is really paying off...

Thanks Rickie, this is a new area to me, I'm still scanning and evaluating where I want to start putting some of my own out. I've still got a lot to learn though, but that's part of why I love chasing them on Kentucky/Barkley so much. So much quality water to explore and figure out how to make them bite.
