Thread: Cumberland Lake anglers .... note :

I spoke with the operation manager at the corp this morning about this. He said it is not looking promising on bringing the lake up to normal summer pool this year. Because of the endangered minnow, it will be awhile
before the federal wild life makes and carries out a plan to save them. Even after they get done, then it is sent to the general in Indiana, then he makes the final decision on when to start raising the lake up. If its to late
in the year, he won't raise it at all. So instead of it being 723, he said it will be around 700-705 for this year.

yea now I won't have to hunt for new cover. what I have will no be 200 feet deep this spring.

Works for me as well. Like 'dave the wave', can make good use of those waypoints I've worked hard to record..........

I'm not a biologist, but if Tuxedo Darters are in the headwaters now, I would think they were there when the lake was lowered for the dam repair. So if the lake was at 723 before the repairs started and the Darter was there, how is returning it to 723 going to endanger them? Just asking....
