Good luck buddy. I had the same thing around the holidays. Started literally during the UofL v UK basketball game. Crazy fan here. Like a fool I put it off until after the new year and finally went in. Had a cath done and found a blockage. Put a stint in and 24 hours later I was back working. Lost 150lbs over the past 4 years but took the heart event to get me to put the cigarettes away. Stopped now for 5 months with no regrets. It was a simple process and you will pull through it. Even by pass is an everyday surgery compared to 10 years ago. You will be back on the water soon.

Heart cath results showed no blockages no bad valves or any other problem with my heart. Now here's the rest of the story. It did show an aortic aneurism that makes me a walking time bomb if it's not repaired soon. Wednesday is a CT scan with dye Thursday I see my heart Doc to find out when I'll have open heart surgery to repair it He's hoping for that to happen Friday or Monday. Thanks for all the well wishes and don't catch all the fish I hope I'll be after them in about 2 or 3 months God willing.

Good luck Wannabe, I will be praying for you and your doctors. When I broke my leg it kind of put me in a little funk. First time I have ever been down this long. I know God has a plan for all of us and you will look back at what you are going through and come out a stronger person. I have a co worker that had the same thing done and he came out great. Them doctors can do some great things. Hang in there and prayers are being sent!

Hang tough, brother .... your attitude and belief that you'll pull through is a huge factor in these situations. You'll just miss the HOT Summer fishing, but be back in the saddle come early Fall.

We'll all be pullin for ya to come out of this stronger than ever !!

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, they worked!! Doctor said today that although I do have an aneurism that it isn't bad enough for surgery right now, but he will be watching it with check ups and CT scans every 6 months. The normal aorts is 3.6cm and mine is 5.1cm the operational guide is 5.5cm so I have a little way to go before they'll operate.
Again thanks for all the prayers, I knew I could count on fellow C.Cers to come through.

Good news, now more sitting, fishing
