I live 20 mins from Tellico Lake, 35 min from Ft Loudon, an hour from Watts Bar. Crappie fishing is trying at Tellico at times, the green carp guys say the same. Ft Loudon is better but farther to travel, and don't go there much if any. Watts Bar is difficult and they advise not to eat the fish or too much of them anyways, so i dont' got there either. I wish the fishing was better, I live where I live as this is close to family, (but not too close) and I don't want to live any where outside of E TN. I can go fishing and "waste" a portion of the day or all day and not spend much $$, so can't complain. Would like to report those days like some do of 50 or 100 fish with 2 limits, but then I would want to do it all the time and get frustrated if I didn't. LOL. When I retire, I would like to travel to some of the other lakes around to try those and maybe see what its like to catch 50 nice ones in a single day.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Right on Herrington Lake. Building boats and fishing. I don't know if it gets better.
Reminds me of the movie, Field of Dreams, "Is this Heaven?" "No, it's Iowa."

Is this Heaven? No, it's Kentucky.

I think we're all blessed in some way to live near a body of water. It is what you make of it. To be close to LBL is really blessed!

    Yes, that is very true.

I live about 15 miles west of the 170,000 acre Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (LBL).

    It's a nice place.

I live 10 miles from the 160,000 acre Kentucky Lake, and the 57,000 acre Barkley Lake is within 25 miles of my house. I live 10 miles from 220,000 acres of Water.

I live in an Outdoor Paradise

I live in a van down by the river!:p
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
