Thanks for sharing. Those are HUGH! I'd LOVE catching something like that. I wouldnt be picky either.....I'd take the 3-14 and still be proud.:p
It's cool to know there are a few 4 pound Crappie in Kentucky Lake.
However, between Kentucky and Barkley Lakes, the Crappie have nearly a quarter of a million acres of water to hide from you in. LOL
So a fish like this is a once in a lifetime fish for most people.

You know they caught a Crappie that was around 3 pounds 14 ounces, either last year or the year before in the same area. It was over 19 inches long.

That looks like a monster fish! I am sure that 5 ponder that is the new record in AR is legit but the pic of that one does not look to be even a couple of pounds.
good catch.......that'll feed a family or two......
Man what a whopper!!!!
I let this beauty go two years ago in Kentucky Lake, so I know a few big ones still reside in Kentucky Lake... Hopefully, I can catch her again in October during the Crappie USA Classic!...LOL (She was 3.8 after dropping a ton of eggs on the deck of the boat):
