fished green with a friend of mine yesterday and caught 30 keepers by 10 am then caught 16 more keepers by 230. then went to dale hollow for walleyes. caught the crappie on tight lines with jigs tipped with minnows.
can you tell us a little more about the walleyes? where,when,how and depth. not sure what you mean about spinners. been wanting to go and try the walleyes. have a trip planned next thursday through sunday any help would be appriciated. thanks!

how ? a spinner rig with nightcrawlers. It is a 2 hook harness that has beads then a clivis with a no. 4 colorodo blade with a 4 foot leader then attached to a 2 oz. bottom bouncer. the speed of the boat is 1.2 mph.
another trick is when you find a group of eyes on the bottom, jig a lead spoon off of the bottom with sharp snaps of the rod. and hange on...

Caught a few out of there, back in the day .... April (Crappie) prespawn period - wind blown point - main lake/creek mouth point with pea gravel/rock - caught casting parallel to the main lake bank, using marabou Roadrunners (solid chartreuse). My (late) partner & I caught around 7 ... with 5 of them being keepers.

It seems something has happened to the walleye at Green. I used to catch them by accident, regularly while bass fishing. However last year
and so far this year have not caught a single one. My techniques are different now, may be the reason.
Is anyone else catching any?
