    Default outlook for next week?

Dad and I are heading down on Sunday to fish for three days. I was waning to get some opinions on how you thought the fishing will be. We are going out with a guide so we can learn the lake before we haul the boat down and go out on our own. Thanks for your input!
    Good Luck!

Better tell us what lake you're going to, Matt .... !! Most lakes in the state are flooded, but should be dropping some (barring any more heavy rains in their drainage areas).

We are going to Kentucky lake to fish with Old Guide. I have only talked to Lyndon a few times, but cann't wait to fish with him. Dad and I have always wanted to go somewhere to caught some really nice crappies. I'm hoping Kentucky lake will be the place! I wouldn't mind getting in to the Redears either. I think they would be a blast!
    Thanks for the info!

You must have booked early. You are fix'n to climb in the boat with 1 of the best crappie guides on the lake. You'll be ok.

As for the lake drop'n... Ain't happ'n. Big water come'n. Every pool on the Tn. & Cum. rivers system is loaded! Big water coming down the Oh. They are running what they can right now thru Ky & Barkley but they are gonna have to hold a lot of water. As a matter of fact any tributary that leads to the Oh. is gonna try & hold all they can. This river is gonna get stupid high! 8 more feet on the lower guage at Ky & they are gonna have to stop locking operations. I have only seen this happen 1 other time that I can remember & I've been on the river for 36 years.

DohAnd it is pouring down here in Louisville now. I can't believe how bad it has been and will be. Was down by McAlpine and the water running past the RR bridges looked like something out of Indiana Jones movies. Raging around those pylons.
