I was never in country but spent a lot of time steaming up and down the coast. Also spent 2 years directly supporting ops from an intelligence center in the Philippines.

I served from March 68 to March 69 in Lam Dong province with MACV. I was a radio operator working with ARVN soldiers. Good to hear from all the vets...!Hands Clapping

Thanks to all who have served Thumbs Up, the American public owes you a debt that can never be repaid.

I did my most of my tour at Bien Hoa Air base in 71. I spent some time at DaNang too. I worked in a bomb dump.
I'm glad these folks get a lot nicer welcome than we did when we came home.
Man that was a long time ago. Sometimes it seems like yesterday, sometimes it seems like a million years.

I was about a year or two too young for Vietnam.
