Default Are These Crappie ? Pic Included

This is a pic from my hds today. I took the pic with my phone, no card in the system. I came across this group of fish they just seem too shallow for crappie, but there were hundreds of them. Any Ideas

    Cool

Were you on Ky lake, Barkley? In a bay? in the main lake? What was the water temp? If I knew a little more I'd have a better idea of what they were.

I agree. It looks like you just came out of a turn on the sidescan but I think I might be seeing a school of shad hugging the side of the river channel. It could be carp or catfish dogging the school picking them off. Blood has had some serious schools of shad roaming since last fall and throughout the winter.

I would say shad or white bass and drum mixed. I had a simular group on my finder and dropped a camera. Results were stripes and black death (drum).
