Thread: Tough days in Cypress

my old man and i stayed at lakeview on Cypress Creek last week and fished Wed-Friday. Ended up with four crappie. it was tough and everyone else staying there was havin a tough time too. The fish we caught were in shallow water (five feet) near the shore, but we had trouble finding a pattern. Also fished in Hughes one morn with the same luck. We threw the whole book at em and still didn't figure it out. i suppose it'll pick up in the next couple weeks, but I won't be headin back to Cypress.

FYI, the bass bite was on tho.

Noodle ,We were down there ,and left that wed.same thing .we caught enough to eat 1 day .We have only done good 1 time 4 years ago keep going back because we are familiar with that area, great bunch of people .Everyone was fishing deep and with low water temps ,it was tough ,we are going back to try for redears april 30
