Looks like you had a good day at the Cave. I keep letting my work keep me from getting on the water. Maybe I'll make it by fall.
Lil John,
Next time you are thinkin' bout goin let me know before hand and we will do that. For the rest of the summer I'm probably gonna be going out at night to try and beat the heat.
Those are some nice slabs... Congrats on the catch!

Good Job especially for the month of July.
Great looking bunch of fish Slabber, congrats!!
The heavens declare the glory of God and the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1
Are you willing to give up a pattern on how you got them? Cover? Up in the river or on main lake? I need some therapy bad and am planning a day on the lake. Any info appreciated. PM if you want.
Thanks and great catch,
Bassky
Bassky,
I was fishing the main lake. There is a thermocline rite now so keep that in mind. Any main lake/secondary points w/ good deep water access should be good(esp rocky). I wasn't fishing any brush or attractors. Look for areas holding plenty of shad. Fish 10-20 down in 30+. Hope this helps.
PS. best bet would be after dark
