Anyone fish out of a Nucanoe Classic 12?
Thinking about looking at a Nucanoe Classic 12 for a back-up kayak. I was wondering if anyone here fishes out of one and how they like it?

I have one and I love it. I have 2, 360 seats and it's a comfortable and very stable ride. Mine is a frontier 12 but they are close to the same. If you live near the al. tn. state line, you're welcome to come and look at mine or I'll be glad to answer any ?'s you have.

Thanks guys, I was trying to get in touch with someone about a used one and it looks like it has already sold. This one was a Classic, but I think I would prefer a Frontier from what I am hearing and reading. I guess I am still looking.

I just used a Frogg Gear mounting plate with a Driftmaster yak set up (2 holders) on the freedom track for a short time, but changed it out. Here is what I started out with. I take a picture of current setup today if possible.

Yep, when I bought it it already had the TM with cut down shaft, extended tiller steer and speed control, but the PO did a "hack" job on the speed controls so I reworked it. A trailer is the way to go if you can find one at a reasonable cost, just launch & load like a regular boat, no lifting, dragging, etc.

That is a frontier 12in the picture . And a beautiful set up I am a kayak fishing guide and I use nucanoe exclusively however we do show people other brands if they are interested in buying one. But the frontier is a fishing machine for a solo unit.

I use a frontier 12, I may be wrong,but I believe the classic has a narrower standing deck,The frontier 12 would give you more floor space.If you haven't joined the nucanoe forum,may I suggest you do,lots of good info,and folks on the forum may be able to steer you into a good deal.
