Sounds like a great trip.
Well I got out for 3 hours before work today. What a beautiful morning. Almost no wind. Overcast, 68, and light mist at times, and just one other person out there fishing. On top of all that, the fish were eager an willing to bite. I really hammered the gills. Think I found a spawning bed. Most were 7 inchers with a few that looked to be 8 (that's good size for my lake). I released them all hoping they will get bigger for next year! I was catching fish on back to back to back casts on several occasions. Between all the gils I managed to mix in some crappie, perch and LMB. I could not have asked for a better morning on the water -- really a kayak fisherman's paradise is my book! I do apologize for no photos, but sometimes you just need to fish and enjoy the time on the water.
Cheers
Sounds like a great trip.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass alongcoyote419 LIKED above post
I fished a canoe years ago and had a few days like that, and I still remember them well. Tons of fun and no witnesses, but I knew. Always felt fully recharged afterwards. Sounds like you had a great day.
