Those are some nice ones.
A few pics from my trips over the past two weeks. Still finding some good crappie but they have moved to deeper water in the 15 to 30' zone. Have been fly fishing some from the yak but mostly catching small fish at the places I have been but hope to find some over the next month on the beds.

Now if the rains would just slow down a little here. Lakes are at full capacity and the gates are open.
I have been watching the reports from all the rain y'all have been getting. It surely has gone from one extreme to the other for the lakes there. We have storms that will drop 2 to 5'' in a hour or two, have never seen anything like it. Got caught in a storm in the kayak last week, that storm was on us before we knew it was coming. I'm just thankful there was a covered boat slip close by.![]()

This is the time of year to watch the skies and those covered boat slips come in real handy. Would like to see a few months of sunshine and get all the hay cut and
baled and out of the fields, then let it rain some more. Ground is saturated and skeeters are really bad and west Nile in the news. I keep an umbrella in the truck just
in case I get a chance to jump in the kayak. Got to get me a skeeter net for my head so I can breath without inhaling critters.

Ya'll erased that drought from a few years ago yet?
We could use the rain here. It was wet earlier in the spring, but it's dusty dry here now. Farmers have been getting up hay for the last 3 weeks.
