Your jon looks about like mine except that I have a Lowe 1232 and your's appears to be a 14 footer. I really like mine, but I'm a BIG guy. So I've taken a long length of battery jumper cables and I ran them down the channel on the inside of the spray rail, from bow to stern on the port side. That way I can use the battery to ballast out my bigger size and help me keep a more even keel. I power mine with a 46 lb electric also, and I've found I can fish for an easy 5-6 hours trolling before my back gives out on me. I think you've enticed me to repaint mine, but I'll go with the original olive drab. I'm sure my crappie.com decals will look better on a new paint job. I love my boat and wouldn't trade it for the world. Unless I was teased with a 14 footer.
