Small boats are awesome the features folks add make for a one of a kind. I'd like like to see more pics of little bigboats.

that's one heck of a boat minnow. you put a lot of thought and work into that boat. it looks like you've made some storage under the deck. wonderful job.

blackhawk, i like your boat too. like minnow said, i wonder where he got his idea. both rigs would be more than stable enough. maybe not fast but who cares? you both have boats to be proud of.

well I''m about done with my Coleman Crawdad .. It ended up I didn't do a hellva lot to it, but the major things like fold down seats, 3 hp Johnson, front mount mina kota, and the thing that I like best is the stabalizer's / outriggers. Being 230 lbs i just felt like I needed the outriggers as I do like to bass fish. I've used it both ways and if you are a bit like me Clumb-e you need a good lift jacket . And ofcourse the Old Duckhunter doesn't like my outriggers. But what does the ole fart know..

i know my outriggers were better than yours since you flipped your little boat. was that water cold? maybe you should take up checkers?

No checkers, but you know i just got a used 10 foot pond prowler . Welded a couple of cracks and she good to go. Came with a really nice trailer that i'm going to sell.... So back to the drawing board. Question for cane pole is there such a thing as too big of wire size for 12volt trailer wiring. These lights are new but don't work right??

I asked the guys at West Marine that same question. I told them I was using jumper cable wires to run from my deep cell to my electric trolling motor. They said that wouldn't be a problem. The added wire would not create too much resistance, and because the wire was bigger, it would not heat up as fast a smaller gauge wire. I put my battery in the front of my 12' jon boat to help equal out the ballast, so I'm running about 10'+ of wire.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
    But don't forget the Roadrunners

rich, if it's the wires that came with the lights they are fine. 14 ga maybe? maybe even 16 ga. that's fine for 12 volt trailer lights. you may have a ground problem or a bulb loose or not connecting right. put the outriggers on the trailer.

I've done a zilllion trailers and never ran into this problem all work good but I decided to just redo all the wires that way I know I won't have a problem. both lights work good just can't seem to find the problem. don't know why he used such heavy wire???
