Gregg, wished we would have got the chance to meet you,,,,,,,, hopefully we will see you at the next one.

Cindy and were there last weekend. Yes we saw the cancellation in time to not go, but a tough day on the water is better than any day somewhere else. you made a good decision to cancel. Friday evening was pretty decent just kind of explored the lake made it from state park boat ramp #1 to sail boat cove and back without incident explored the area in and below the old Eldorado City lake. Saturday was rough,
my boat is made to handle it safely but wasn't really easy. I enjoyed watching the bass tournament participates running around trying to find a place they could fish, there were about 15 boats fishing the Marina cove. anyway we enjoyed the weekend, wished we could have met some more of you all. We are busy with previous engagements May 10-12 so will miss this one but hope to catch you at the fall camp.

Gregor hope you and your wife are able to make it back for camp. If I had known you were going to be there I would have came out for awhile. Looks like lake are going to be high and muddy but will try and get a report out before camp weekend. Hope to see ya all at camp.

Lake is currently 5.5 feet above conservation pool and still rising with 10,000 cfs inflow. I just got back from looking at the ramps. The only functioning state park ramp is the Shady Creek Area 1 ramp. The other ramps (Shady Creek Marina, Bluestem #1, Bluestem #2, Boulder Bluff, Sailboat, Chelsea, and Jumping Bridge) have water above the tops of the ramps and up in to the parking lots on most.
Pic is of Shady Creek Marina boat ramp taken today at 11:40AM.
Thanks craig. Doesn't look good with more rain tonight. Might turn into a cabin camping trip or fishing with waders.

That fries it. I was seriously leaning toward running over but the weather is winning.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
