Damn the bad luck.. Keep trying and they will come...
Haven't targeted Crappie for 2 or 3 years , been stuck on traveling for Walleye, I've been to Perry several times with no luck . I use to pride myself on catching them during Sept.oct.and November. but it hasn't worked. Been calmly waiting for water temps to get to 40% to get after the winter bite. so I took a road trip to Wilson First day only boat on the lake caught stripers big was 23".no walleye but had a blast the next day 40 +mph winds packed up and went home. went to a new lake tried for crappie .just to fall on the slick boat ramp found sweat paints under seat stripped at the boat ramp put on .then went home lickin my wounds. So yes I've lost that lovin feeling.

Quit looking at the bottom of the screen on your locator that's where the eyes are. The crappie will be somewhere in the middle. So either tilt your head up or pull it out one or the other

Jigger I like your solution. it has nothing to do with crappie. Just say when . I guess Shane is right if I want to catch them I need to go that seems to be the biggest problem. I see Devils Lake , and a few other choice northern lakes in the future. I bought 200 dollars worth of jigging raps I want to give a work out.
Hey crappie catching has been difficult for me and chief also. Guess I need re-calibrated
If you were looking for crappie at Wilson, you were wasting your time!
