"Crappie Fishing Success" cannot ever be defined by one single most important component. To be successful there are many many components that have to align both mechanically and humanly. Everything touched on so far has to be in place and understood and evaluated to make it all work plus many others not touched on. Trying to define one most important opens the door as to why many must fall into place. Crappie fishing is ever evolving so no single component will always be the answer.

I asked a guy that was good and he said "going" consistently for the particular season and conditions that are current. Then "patterning" based on any type of success that you are having. One leads to the other!
