Size: 91.6 KBFishing with 'FHNB' you always want your fishers to catch fish,,,no matter what size or species. I started looking for brush-piles that would provide needed bites. That didn't work so off to the standing timber. Couple of hrs. and that wasn't the trick. Water temps in the lower 70's & over a ft of clarity should be able to find some biters. Knowing there was going to be a lite southerly breeze, looked for chanel breaks, close to the south shores. Map showed some breaks up towards the dam. Perfect,,, if I can get some bites. Going across from low to high spotted some hanging in 22 to 25ft deep. Prolly those ,egg eating, white perch. Dropped a K-rigg down and immediately caught a 10in crappie. Seem too deep but there they were. Fished this area both days. They moved around but never left that depth. Caught crappies, walleyes, white perch, and small blues. GREAT,,,it was just what I was looking for. The bonus was a couple of 'slabs' in with all of them. Had helpers on the boat at all times. Sunday morning I was blessed with Ray Tole as a pardner helping. The bite was as good as one would hope with doubles caught. All three fisher were catching faster than Ray could keep the score sheet updated. In the heat of the bite,,, I stepped back only to lose my footing and fell. I hit just about everything & everybody trying to recover. Ray was unhooking a fish as my arms hit the pole. Afterwards ,Ray looked at me and said he needed some help. OMG, he has a hook buried in his thumb. I have had to remove hooks before, so I wasn't in shock but not anybody else in the boat. Got the string out, doubled it, had Ray hold the hook eye down, and I popped it right out. A band-aid, and back to fishing. Everybody needs to know how to do this. Thanks Ray!! Anyway, It was a fantastic time with 'FHNB' as always. Now, I hope this good deed will follow me out to Glen next week. <*)}}}><
