    You guys had one of the best fishing days to be out in a boat during December I have ever seen, with low winds and above freezing temps.
    I fished inside my blue shack from 10:30-2, caught several shorts and one 11 1/2" slab.
    I'm going back out on Christmas day to try my luck then, since all the family gatherings are on other days.

    It trully was one of the best (weather wise) Dec. days. Can't figure why bite was off tho. Maybe the surface temps dropping to 40 with snow & strong winds had sumthin ta do wid it. Keep me a seat, Capt. Dan, in your hut available fo next week as it is lookin bad for boating. <*)}}}><

    There is very few secrets in me FD. A little more brush to snag-on, and 'Boo'. Also about 4ft shallower. Biggest diff was the lack of hybirds & boats. <*)}}}><

    Gotta do the community work during the early summer HRs. Hope to do some more work this summer, time permitting. Keep me posted on the ice in the Bloomington area. Thanks for the reports!
