Thread: Hillsdale 6-25

Fished Hillsdale Monday from 1000 to 1500. Man it was smokin' hot. Used an umbrella but the wind was low. Managed to find them in deep spots 22-30' near Big Bull trees or brush piles. Caught a few on 1/8 oz. blue/white jigs but it worked better with no skirt and a minnow. Finished up with 16 and the biggest was 12". Keeper ratio was probably 5 to 1. Lots of shorts. Caught the last few on H. Point. Cleaned them in the Maryville parking lot and it was a lot hotter than the lake. That place needs a few trees! Guess I should have used Jayhawk but hate the long "no wake".

Nice work! I fished HD Saturday, 06/23 from 0630 to 1230. Caught 49 fish and only 1 was 10"...and it was right at 10". Most were 6-8" range.
