    Default Hillsdale Current Conditions?

Really want to splash the boat and fish a while but I'm concerned about the conditions. Is it muddy?

The water from Jayhawker ramp up to the redneck ramp on the Wade looked OK yesterday. The wind was supposed to pick up by 10 am so I fished from daylight to 10 am catching 15 total with only 3 legals. Did get a few thumps in before leaving the lake for the working folks over the holidays.

Water looked good yesterday evening. I took a buddy's son out we caught 13 keepers and 5 or 6 shorts the last hour before dark. All on 1/4 oz. turd tails color didn't seem to matter much.

Water was fine today in Jayhawk. I caught a ton of short females on the banks...a few about 6' down in 15 fow. I didn't keep track but i burned through "2 dozen" minners...probly closer to 3. Bite was better with a chartreuse nibble. However, I only caught one keeper which was released due to lack of company in the livewell.

Never made it out of Jayhawk due to the fog and rain...but a fun day nevertheless.

We caught quite a few shallow on crankbaits yesterday in coves too. Few pretty good sized fish. Water got pretty murky past the bridge.
