Pictures to go along with the words.
Caught 32 keeps all in 30+ water. Fish suspended from 35 to 25 seemed to drift up and down. Early on were shallow at 25 then went down to 35. Just average fish for the most part a couple were really nice. Melvern water temp 39.
Nice catch Bill. We need to get together and hit Melvern sometime.
Hey if anyone wants to make contact with me my email is [email protected]. This is better than a PM here as I do not check here as often as I do my email. Thanks.
Had a good day at Melvern, not good as Blackdog40. as we had to leave the lake early due to engine problem. Had a skunk going the back of the boat most of the day but finally he caught a fish, had a good time with friends.
One could say we had a mini camp today at Melvern. Bill's boat with two others and Ron's boat with Young Doug and Old Doug with me in my boat.
For me any time I fish Melvern I always start the day at Green Acres just to be guaranteed a high lite for the day since any success on the water for me is always a iffy and problematic situation. Having breakfast with Ron, huntcapn and Slabby Joe started the day and that by it's self made the day even if no fish had of been caught.
Doug and I fished until around 4:30 pm. Our catching depths varied from 21 ft to 27ft in water 21 to 40 ft deep. The livewell picture had 19 on the left side and 12 on the right side.
Anyhow a fun day for me.

Remember "I" before "E," except in Budweiser
Sounds like a great time. Good to at least see some pictures of fish.
LIFE’S TOO SHORT TO FISH WITHOUT BEER
Interesting, Springhillwannabe and I fished CG yesterday and had a very similar pattern. Our exception was that most of the "shallower" fish were whites. We caught some saugys and some nice crappies, not the numbers, but thick fish. Nobody would've even known if I hadn't just posted it here, we had the lake to ourselves. Jim started sunbathing in his speedo after lunch and I think that extra glare is what got the fish going.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
