Shane- Thanks for the info. I'm debating weather to head out to El Dorado or Cheney this weekend? hmmm...might have to go one place on Saturday then the other on Sunday... I hate when life keeps presenting me with these difficult choices... :-)

I checked Moon Lake yesterday and there was a freshly cut 3' x 3' hole in the ice, from the trout stocking truck! The ice was about 5" from what I could tell without a gauge? I have an appointment at 12 today and then I'm heading out to catch some slimers and hopefully a few nice crappie too!

Wilsons locked up completly and I would bet most of it is fishable, especially the ice after the snow. Lots of it is just as thick as the snow covered. Its been a smorgasbord of species, but I've been striper happy. Seems to be a lot of 15# +/- fish this year. Cleaned a 35" that had 71 white perch in it, everythings as fat as I am. Interesting thing though is crappie around Cedar Creek and LMB (nice ones). Now I'm gonna have some of those ol timers stories too. I've shot more pheasants than fish I've caught there. Some guys are getting some really nice fish out of 2' of water next to the bank almost to Elm Creek. Yea I said 2', almost looks remedial when you see them, but their catching plenty. Its been fun almost like snaggin a bus.

Went back to the Glen yesterday and caught a pretty good mess of fish! ( Getting the oil hot now!) Ice was still safe 10-12 inches thick but made alot of noise! Not as many whites, mostly crappie ( a great surprise!), and a few nice wipers! The whites did move in around 12 and the crappies left! Also caught a nice channel cat deadsticking a minnow.

Also talked to the game warden, he was riding a 4 wheeler on the ice checking licenses! Very nice guy.
