    Default Wiper madness

Well I decided to go out fishing in the rain and mist on Tuesday. The winds were light and the shad were easy to find and off to the flats to try and find the wipers. The gulls were diving so I eased into were they were and the bottom was filled with large marks so I stopped and dropped in my shad and it was pretty much fish on for 5 hours. I did have to fine tune my presentation as they would pick the shad up and spit it out if they felt any resistance. Never moved more than 15 yards in either direction. Caught this nice 28 inch monster and caught several others in the 25-27 inch range. With all the shad in the water the wipers look great and should grow really big in the next couple of years. A Great day, just the right place at the right time. Gary

Wow! A 28" wiper must have put up a heck of a fight.
