The beef is you calling someone an idiot that cares enough to try to protect them selves and there family. I see that you never watch the news about all the senseless killings over nothing. How many times are innocent people killed because they are in the wrong place at the right time. If you Want to see a real idiot that is not in touch with reality then go look in a mirror and introduce yourself to the idiot starring back at you. As for me and my house we will defend it with all means possible.

It happened to me and several others sounds like why the fisherman got shot. Fishing Perry put in below the ranger station .when I got done fishing my truck was broke into a cb.and other things tackle I had behind the seat. A few days later I got a call from a good Samar tin that found some of my fishing boxes in a trash barrel at the boat ramp on Seward Ave. I went out there and looked around and saw dozens of dirty Needles that the druggies were using. If we cant stop drugs it's only going to get worse.

We have a right to keep and bear arms and we have the right to free speech. Many of us fought so that Americans can have those rights. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, we will never all agree but doesn't mean anyone is an idiot. The reason these things can't be discussed rationally without name calling in this country has just been verified. Some of us who fought for your rights are disgusted with a lot of people on both sides of this. No one wants to work out viable options, it's all about who can call someone else the bigger idiot. Many on both sides of this issue deserve exactly what is happening all across this Great Country.

I used to not carry when I go fishing but I do go fishing alone a lot and being prepared is better than being sorry.

So I do carry when I am out there by myself.

I have wrestled with the question about using deadly force against another person,under nearly any circumstances,even in my own defense. I am a Christian and a pacifist by nature. But have always enjoyed the shooting sports.People who become too zealous about the prospect about taking arms against another to lightly troubles me.

But I think the Master wants us to be his good sheep.....but not sheep to the slaughter of the Lion.

I will agree with that. I want to at least have the ability to defend myself if needed. I wan't be a lamb ready to be slaughtered and not have no way to defend myself. With the state of the world every law abiding citizen would have the right to carry concealed anywhere they go. How many laws are there on the books that make murder illegal and how passing more laws is going to help. Look at all the money wasted on drug control and I can leave my house and in 10 minutes get all the drugs I could afford if I was a user. If we had more people armed thugs would not be so quick to disobey the law and attack innocent people for fear of not knowing if someone was armed. Not because it is against the law.
