Hard to go hunting when you have no place to go.
Also NR turkey permits need to go way up. $190 in MO and its $50 in Kansas. Glad I bought my lifetime hunt/fish when I did.

The out of state licenses is where the major increases need to happen. It's been talked about in other places at length but most people would love to see something similar to what South Dakota does on fees and draws for hunting certain things. Make it special when you get to go vs the highest land bidder on a lease.

I.M.O. the Fees Committee and the Commissioners have made some valid points. The biggest one being that the license and permit fees have not increased since 2002. I would encourage everyone to pick up the latest Walk-in Hunting Access atlas and the F.I.S.H. atlas. I consider us lucky to have the land that the state has made available to everyone of us that buys a hunting or fishing license.
The Non-residents took a harder hit than the residents...
