    Default eldorado lake flatheads

Not to crazy about putting boat on the lake right now. Thinking about fishing for some flatheads from the bank, anybody have any suggestions on what part of the lake to try? Planning on going saturday night....thanks

Guess nobody has any info shortdraw I would imagine there hasn't been a lot of fishing going on at the place.

I caught about a 6 lb flathead trolling cranks at Eldo yesterday morning. Thought I had a giant walleye. They must be hungry...no idea where to target them on the lake though. The lake is finally coming back down a bit and stabilizing. Just in time for my twin baby boys to show up in a couple weeks and my world get turned upside down! Good luck!

I think if I was fishing off the bank I would be fishing off the bluff on blue stem with the water as high as it is or the spillway if the water is running good

Thanks guys. Oh yeah, twin boys to add to my 2 year old son. Who, by the way, was mad as heck when i rolled up back home at 10:00 Sunday morning pulling the boat behind my truck, that he didn't get to go "on daddy's big boat" "on the water at the BIG Lake!". Ha. Mamma is 35 weeks tomorrow and still working. She's way tougher than I would be! Doc is very confident that we'll have 2 6+ lb babies!
