Fished pike growing up in Nebraska the spawn is normally right after ice out up there but don't know if that would make I a difference with kingman being more south. Had a guy tell me that as of last year there is allot of 18 to 20 inch pike in there right now. They can grow fast so could be better this year. In early season pike can be good using dead smelt of shad if you can't get them to hit baits. Just like most other species this time of year I would check warmer northern banks on warmer days.
