    Default Kingman State Lake??

Has anyone fished Kingman State Lake since it was drained in 2012? I'm curious how the pike population is doing and when would be the best time of year to go after them?

Fished pike growing up in Nebraska the spawn is normally right after ice out up there but don't know if that would make I a difference with kingman being more south. Had a guy tell me that as of last year there is allot of 18 to 20 inch pike in there right now. They can grow fast so could be better this year. In early season pike can be good using dead smelt of shad if you can't get them to hit baits. Just like most other species this time of year I would check warmer northern banks on warmer days. Let me know if you do any good would like to give it a go myself....

    The states report from November

Northern Pike Fair Up to 28" Pike are active in cold water and will bite about any lure at any time. There were pike approaching 30" captured in fall samples.
