    Default Otter

Was driving on K-10 on Sunday on the south side of Lawrence and saw this guy on the side of the road that had been hit by a car. First one I've seen in KS, too bad it was under these circumstances.

I've seen them at truman, and my dad fishes a pond by Archie that has them. But this is the first I've seen in Kansas. Cool animal but they can clean a pond out in a hurry.

Used to see them all the time where the Republican river empties into Milford lake. Also seen 4 cross Grant Ave about 200 yds from the river bridge on my way to work one morning.

I have seen a few over the years mostly up the rivers, neat animals.

I had no idea we had them in Kansas. Gruesome photos, but thanks for sharing anyway. I learn something new every day!

There was 4 of them in a pond I was fishing in Parker, KS a couple years ago. The fishing in that pond went downhill rapidly after they showed up

Saw a group of 5 of them on Truman last October.
