Default First Crappie on my Jigs

I took my wife and daughter out on Friday night. I wanted to get that first crappie on a jig I made. We had quite a trip. We caught around 100. About 1 in 3 were dinks. Sometimes they would bite the minnows better than the jigs but more often than not the jigs would produce best. The bite was very light so it was a good thing the wind died off. Sometimes all we woud see is our line go a little slack. We had a great time. Thanks to all who have helped me get started.

Congratulations. I knew you would enjoy the thrill of catching them on something you created.

TCF - We didn't take any picts this trip. After we woke up from a little nap Saturday it was all about cleaning them up and getting them in the grease for a big Father's Day fish fry.

No one can fault you for not taking the pics then!!! Cookin' and Eatin' are way more fun that takin' pics of the catch... Glad you had a successful fishing trip and a great meal for your reward!!!
