    Default Any gnat makers?

These are not only easy to build, but cheap seeing there’s no jigheads to buy,,,they work great spiderrigging tipped with minnows or crappie bites,,,,I used to buy these by the hundreds from a few builders, but they seemed easy to make so I started making my own,,,I have tons of these, and absolute love them….

I use to buy them 8 years ago and use them. Worked well. Guess my style of fishing has changed since then and stopped. Thinking I need to start making them but on my hooks I use for when I’m using a drop shot with a minnow. There are times even a minnow they have lock jaw. Might just help on these days.

Like you say, tip them with minnows, crappie nibbles, waxworms, small plastics, or a Gulp minnow and tear em up! Those are really nicely tied!

I might tie some of these up and dunk them in Slab Sauce to try under a split shot.

I like that idea and am thinking of doing the same thing.
