    Default 1/16 Diner Shiners

I painted these up yesterday and tied half of them since I might use some for soft plastics. These are 3x the weight of the jigs I have been using the last couple months at 1/16 th, have been using 1/48th. On windy days the little jigs drift too fast, hopefully the heavier head will slow it down some, don't think fish want to chase down a bait when water is really cold and clear. Name: IMG_2992.jpg

Very nice Jim. 1/16 is the weight I use 98% of the time and I think that gets to lightweight sometimes...lol.

Love those dark snake-headed looking ones. Nice work!

Nice jigs. Mallard flank is great for cold water.
