    Default Squirrel tail anyone?


    So I got limited time being Christmas and all and I’m about out of hackle and bucktail,, I reach in my box of goodies and pull out my grey squirrel tail ,,,this is my first shot tying this stuff,,,,pretty looking anyway,,,hope they catch a fish one day,,,

    I use a fair amount of squirrel tail hai on bream flies but those ties look like some fish catching jigs. May need to tie up a few.

    I use squirrel tail a lot in my trout flies. Great action, natural colors and durable. Those look great.
