    The greatest advantage to any Regal vise, in my opinion, is its ease in placing your hook within its jaws securely. Its hold is rock solid.

    I use a Regal, that was machined during the late 1970s or early 1980s, when traveling. Though, it's not light in weight for its construction, it's easy to move, attach to a table, and tie with.

    I doubt I'll ever replace it as my traveling vise. A little sentimentality exists, as it was my Father's vise at one time.

    A great piece of tying equipment, regardless.

    Had one for many years it is the best but expensive I tied Millie’s Bucktails and Hook-up Lures with mine and we are talking sometimes a 100 a nite so buy one you won’t regret it.
