    Default Versatile Willow Spinner Lures

I have been using willow spinners to make some very effective horizontal and vertical lures. I have used spinners from size 0 to size 5 1/2.
The enclosed lures were crafted from a # 2 willow spinner and were very effect on pan fish this winter.Name: 4 in 1.JPG

These are like the post you made sometime back and am sure these are good catchers, good job! Do you ever use them as Gold or Silver like they come? Maybe attaching the hook discolors it too much?

The smaller spinners we use for Panfish can be left silver or gold. They work quite well with one side painted and the other side natural.
The larger #4-5 Flutter Spoons( split ring hook attachment) are usually left natural gold or silver and are used for game fish.
The lures posted are used for hard water crappie fishing and are glow painted for night fishing. I also have made similar lures with #0 spinners for Gill fishing. These are painted more natural colors non glow for day time use.
Thanks skiptomylu thanked you for this post
